How to write scientific texts? Today, the students were given answers to this question from Ashot Galstyan’s report, who is a Professor, the Head of the Department of Native

Language and its Teaching Methods after Ashot Ter-Grigoryan.
During the workshop arranged under the initiative of the Student Scientific Society of the Faculty of Primary Education the linguist introduced different types of texts, drawing particular attention to scientific texts, its general characteristics and structure starting from the title page until the list of bibliography.
“The educational programmes refer to this question only in the section of Armenian language “Stylistics” and not in its full depth. I think such seminars will contribute to students’ works to be more scientific and accurate,” Ashot Galstyan mentioned and expressed his willingness to participate in scientific workshops on other subjects as well.
The President of the Student Scientific Society of the Faculty of Primary Education Anna Avetisyan considers today’s event quite tailored and targeted for all students. “In the process of studies each professor dictates his/her own format of a scientific work in the result of which sometimes a graduate work does not vary from a course paper or an essay.”
Students, who were present at the workshop, were of the same opinion: moreover, this was an important piece of information on the threshold of writing scientific papers.
More to the point, the third year Pedagogy and Methodology student (elementary education) Astghik Arshakyan is sure that the previous and the next scientific works will definitely vary from each other both in format and in content: the information they received will particularize their knowledge when writing a diversity of scientific works.
Let us also mention that the Academic Vice Chancellor, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor Srbouhi Gevorgyan, the Dean of the Faculty of Primary Education, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Heghinei Khachatryan, and a number of students from different faculties were all present at the workshop.
