The Dean of the Faculty, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Heghinei Khachatryan represented the structure of the Faculty, the academic programmes, the internship process. She also emphasized the importance of the profession of pedagogues, mentioning that being a teacher in elementary classes is a great honour for everybody; they are never forgotten and always dear.
The Deputy Dean of Science Lusinei Poghosyan, the Chairman of the Faculty SC Anna Sargsyan and the postgraduate students presented the events arranged in the educational process, the importance of active social activities and the preconditions to become the best student.
In his turn, the Head of the Department of native language and its teaching methods after Ashot Ter-Grigoryan, Ashot Galstyan spoke about the required admissions examinations to the Faculty of Primary Education and mentioned his willingness to arrange preparatory training courses in Armenian Language and Literature on the threshold of admissions examinations.

There are 387 pupils studying at 4 streams of the high-school number 10 after Movses Khorenatsi in Vagharshapat.
The Headmaster Hayk Baghdasaryan thinks that high-school is still on its development path and in this process, the connection of the Pedagogical University to schools is extremely important. “Mutually arranged visits will ensure that the University is more aware of the school’s problems, it will contribute to making specific corrections in the University’s educational processes.
For instance, Ara, the twelve-grade student of humanitarian stream of the same school has chosen the lawyer’s profession but he highly esteems the role and the meaning of pedagogues in each person’s life. Moreover, just like his friends, he is sure that frequent meetings with Universities will assist to better professional orientation.
Further on, Alvard Hayrapetyan, the Headmaster of the high-school number 2 after Grigor Narekatsi, which has around 661 pupils, mentions that the twelve-grade students are already determined about the choice of their professions, but for the younger students this meeting will to some extent be orienting. On this point, the history teacher Bahar Yeghiazaryan called for the students to appreciate and to choose the profession of pedagogue.
Afterwards, the next meeting of the faculty representatives took place with the students of the school number 5 after Maxim Gorki, who, as ensured by the Headmaster, had

significant success in a number of Olympiads.
In the course of meeting it became clear that Anna, who was a twelve-grade student of the Humanitarian stream, had already decided to apply for the Faculty of Primary Education of the Pedagogical University. The latter was pleasantly surprised that in just a year’s time she would be a member of the Debate Club of the Faculty and would be using the modern facilities of the University.
Next in turn, was the meeting with the high-school students of the Eornekean secondary school, which proved that few of them are informed about the departments and academic conditions available at the Pedagogical University.
“Only the person can become a pedagogue, who is gifted with those skills from the Nature,” states the eleventh-grade student of the natural Sciences stream Armen and then adds that the irreplaceable role of pedagogues is essential for preserving national traditions.
Let us also mention that the representatives of the Faculty of Primary Education will pay visits to other schools of the country in near future.
