The Director of the ASPU Scientific Library, the RA Army Lieutenant Colonel, the author of numerous books Tigran Petrosyants was awarded the title of the General of the Kazakh Army
of Don by the ataman of the union of non-traditional settlements I. Konov.
In his encyclopedias “1000 Armenian Generals, Admirals” and “200 Armenian Commanders” the Library Director wrote about the military biography of the sons of Armenian nation, about Armenians who were granted the titles of Generals and Admirals from Armenian and other countries, as well as introduced the Armenian Generals who once were Kazakh atamans.
“Recently, on the occasion of 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Armenian-Russian Kazakh union, I have been awarded their jubilee medal; nevertheless, it was a great surprise for me to receive the title of General from the Kazakh Army of Don. The encyclopedias “1000 Armenian Generals, Admirals” and “200 Armenian Commanders” aim to raise the military spirit and self –awareness of the younger generation, I am glad to see that foreigners, too, appreciated the value of the books,” Tigran Petrosyants mentioned.
Last but not least, the latter also informed that the English and then also Russian versions of the “1000 Armenian Generals, Admirals” will be published soon.
