Recently, the jury members of All-Armenian Tournament of Young Chemists visited the Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU).

Representatives of the sphere, teachers, professors and young scientists from different universities summarized the results of the previous tournament and discussed future plans and steps.
All-Armenian Tournament of Young Chemists is held by the principle ‘chemical struggle’ of an interactive game. The tournament was first held in Armenia in 2010 with the methodological support of Ayb Educational Foundation and Chair of Chemistry and its Teaching Methods, ASPU.
The tournament was chaired by Nina Hobosyan, Candidate of Chemical Sciences, lecturer of the Chair of Chemistry and its Teaching Method. Vice-chairman of the tournament was Ashot Babakhabyan, professor of the same Chair.
The tournament aimed to raise the interest of 9th-12th graders towards Chemistry, promote and develop their creative and scientific abilities of conducting discussions, enhance out-of-school work and scientific activities.
The model of the tournament and the technologies applied in it are ‘borrowed’ from All-Ukrainian Tournament for Young Chemists, which has been successfully held in Ukraine for many years.
