Reading Russian Literature at the Philological

Recently , the fourth year students of the Philological Faculty has organized an event named “Reading Russian Literature” during which discussed the book “Reviews of the Russian

 Literature History of 20th Century” by writer Abgar Apinyan.
 
The Dean of the Faculty Yuri Davtyan emphasized in his welcome speech the necessirty of strengthening Russian-Armenian friendship. 
 
Afterwards, students Zhenya Hakobyan, Liana Avetisyan, Mariam Hakobyan, Rita Karapetyan, Anoush Hayrapetyan and ANi Baghdasaryan  presented their reports on the following subjects “Gorki and Armenia”, “Sergey Yesenin’s Love Songs”, “Valeriy Bryusov”, On Maria Tsvetaeva’s Poetry and Criticism”, “Boris Pasternak’ s Prose”, and “Ivan Bunin”.
 
Among those present at the event there were also the Armenian representative of the “Nezavisimaya Gazeta/ Independent Paper” Yelena Shuvaeva, a modern writer, journalist Ashot Mirzoyan, prose writer Alina Derdzyan, poetesses Inga Ishkhanyan and Christinei Khalatyan.
