The First Group of Researchers Formed

The first group of researchers consisting of 17 undergraduate and graduate students majoring in Social Pedagogy has been formed recently at the Faculty of Education Psychology

 and Sociology. The group has three subgroups.
 
The students will carry out research work in the capital and regional schools, orphanages and non-governmental organizations implementing inclusive education. 
 
 “The research work will ensure the unity of research and educational activities underway at the Faculty, increase students interest towards research activities and better their quality,” Hakob Tadevosyan, the author of the initiative, Deputy Dean for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies Associate Professor, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, said in conversation with armspu.am.
 

He noted that they have chosen for each subgroup specific research areas and topics: problems of inclusive education in Armenia and the prospects of development, organization of alternative care of parentless children and the role of social pedagogues in the process, socialization problems of orphanage children.
 
During the first meeting with the students, Hakob Tadevosyan presented through examples the principles of conducting researches, requirements, quality assurance standards and the procedures for the development of survey results.
 
Based on the results of the research scientific presentations and discussions will be arranged at the Faculty and the best works will be published in the form of articles.
