Future Journalists Act in Performance
16.04.2013
“Life is wonderful. Good day to you, Man!”

First-year students of the Department of TV and Radio Journalism greeted the people gathered at the hall of the Culture Faculty with these words.

The students staged a performance entitled “You are not alone as long as you have someone loving you” during which the future journalists appeared as actors, presenting the various manifestations of love, its sufferings and characteristics.

Throughout the performance the students showed in different episodes the power of love and the wonders it makes even in the most insurmountable situations.

“Love does not know sex and age: we should remember that no one is alone if he/she is surrounded by loving people,” said Arthur Gasparyan, one of the actors, who was also the scriptwriter and director of the performance.

Talking to armspu.am, he said the performance was dedicated to the memory of Seda Hovhannisyan, a good friend of the first-year students of the Department of TV and Radio Journalism: the letter she had left served as a script for the performance.

“I hope we have been able to convey our message to the audience by using different reachable methods. Every day can be the last one for us: let each day be filled with love and longing,” Arthur Gasparyan said adding that love is missing in our society today.

During the performance, Alla Zakaryan played the role of a person who is not understood in the society, even by his parents. “When something is over, we needn’t close the chapter: if we are not alone, it means we are loved by someone,” she said confessing that the performance taught her to evaluate each moment of life.
