On the 98th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide an exhibition named “Armenian Genocide in Books” has been opened at the reading hall of the Humanitarian Library recently.

The exhibition presents around 100 works in Armenian, Russian and English published in different countries.
The visitors may get familiar with the memoirs on the Genocide by the Academician Mkrtich Nersisyan, Johannes Lepsius, the great German who was deeply fond of Armenia, the US Ambassador Henry Morgenthau and others published in different countries.
The novelty of the exhibition was the recently acquired three volume book “the Armenian Genocide; the memories of survivors”, the Armenian and Russian versions of the “Black Book” comprising the memoirs of foreign writers, the two volumes of the book “Memoirs of the Genocide Survivors” received as a gift from Lebanon, and more than a dozen books published in the recent years.
We would like to remind that the exhibition will continue until 24 April.
