“Education in Armenia-2013” eleventh international exhibition opened in the Conference hall of the Armenian Government on April 17.
The event organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Armenia and “Expo Service” organization brought together more than 20 educational, state, non-state organizations, secondary and higher education institutions, as well as international and local organizations implementing educational programs.
Armenian State Pedagogical University is again participating in the exhibition: unlike other pavilions, visitors here are welcomed by the students of the Department of Dance who are wearing Armenian national clothing –taraz. The colorful posters, the booklets providing comprehensive information, the illustrated album of the University and the monitors installed in the pavilion allow the visitors to get complete information on the history of the University, its faculties, admission procedure and specialties it offers. The attendees are informed about the activities of the University from its official website and newspaper "Pedagogical University.”
Rafael Kakoyan, General Director of “Expo Service” organization, says the exhibition proved to be effective. It enables graduates to learn about the activities of educational institutions, and helps them in the choice of future profession. “Such expos are widespread in the world. They help beneficiaries and employers meet in one place, as well as strengthen communication and cooperation between universities,” he said.
Rafael Kakoyan is impressed to see new and positive changes in the pavilion of the Pedagogical University every year. He says the pavilion is much more stylish and practical this year.
The fact that the pavilion is attractive and provides complete information to its visitors was also mentioned by Gurgen Barikyan, Executive Director of the Russian Education and Methodology Center of the “Rossotrudnichestvo” representation in Armenia. He is glad that the competent representatives of the ASPU pavilion and the correct presentation of information will convince visitors to get education at this university.
The international exhibition “Education in Armenia-2013” will run until April 19.
