The Pedagogical University is making an interesting scheme towards the entrance examinations.
As one of the competitive universities preparing future pedagogues, the University staff represents their university at 58 schools of the country.
Thus, high school students are given opportunity to get familiar with the University course-list and teaching methods. This is also a favourable fact for the students who wish to become pedagogues, to apply for the State Pedagogical University on the first place.
The Faculty of History and Law has already been at Yerevan High-Schools #3, 112, 119, and 139 and at School #5 in Ashtarak.
“The High-School #113 has historical-legal stream, and mutual visits have already become a tradition here,” said the Dean of the Faculty of History and Law, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Edick Georgyan. “During the last visit we introduced the students with the works of our lecturers-professors, textbooks on Armenian History created by them and other co-authored works.”
The Pedagogical University has already visited about 45 schools; visits to high-schools continue.
