The Pedagogical Student Sets a Record
02.03.2012
Today, Roman Sahradyan, the student of the Faculty of History and Law set a record by making the “Big turn-round” exercise by turning frontward 152 times; the event took place at the

Sports School after Albert Azaryan. The “Big turn-round” exercise is exceptional not only in Armenia, also in the whole country. The 23-year-old Roman Sahradyan was the first to practice the exercise.

Previously, on 24 September 2011, he had already made the exercise “Big turn-round” back 560 times, and on 16 December he repeated it 1001 times, thus, exceeding his own previous record. This record was registered in the “Heroes’ Book” of Armenia.

The 4th year Law student of the Faculty of History and Law of the Pedagogical University made a great impression on the guests with his exceptional strength.

Roman Sahradyan, who had made up to 250 and more turn-rounds during the trainings, said:

“I am very excited and impressed, although I had planned to make from 200 to 300 turn-rounds. Nevertheless, I don’t get dispirited; moreover, I might say, one should never get dispirited in sports. This exercise was much more complicated if compared with the exercise I did before.

I intend to spend more time exercising and improve my results. Actually, I will be glad if someone beats my today’s record.”

Up to Roman, in order to make such an exercise, one should first of all have flexibility and staunchness. It is possible that in future he applies for registration in the Guinness Records Book with higher results.
