Armenian State Pedagogical University again hosted the disabled children of the “Forte” Scientific-Cultural NGO for People with Disabilities. During the concert dedicated to the
spring, the pupils performed national as well as their own works on the University’s stage.
The NGO representatives Christine Hovhannisyan, Anush Mkhitaryan, Vrezh Manukyan, Armen Danielyan, Nune Fidanyan, Arpine Martirosyan performed the works of famous Armenian composer Arno Babajanyan, Gusan Havasi and Shahen with piano accompaniment of Sipan Asatryan.
Christine Hovhannisyan was at ASPU for the first time. After the concert the participant of numerous competitions confessed that in the beginning she was excited but a short time later the stage of the ASPU Culture Faculty became warm and hospitable and the audience - welcoming and dear to her.
At the end of the concert, Sipan Asatryan, who provided live accompaniment throughout the event and sang with all participants, thanked the University [on behalf of the participants] for the warm reception and the opportunity to express their feelings and demonstrate their gifts.
“In our days, we can find almost everything but rarely do we see concerts that can excite and appeal in such a way,” Dean of the Faculty of Special Education Armenouhi Avagyan said expressing her surprise and delight with the performance of the participants.
On behalf of the University, she expressed readiness to continue cooperation with the organization in the future.
The cooperation between ASPU and “Forte” Scientific-Cultural NGO started within the framework of Typhlopedagogy (Methods of Teaching the Blind) specialty, with ASPU students strengthening and deepening at the organization their theoretical knowledge in practice.
