KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

For five continuous weeks a series of spiritual-cognitive training sessions arranged under the initiative of the Pedagogical University Student Council and the Ararat Patriarchal

 Diocese were held at the Pedagogical University.

 

Every day the training started with the Lord’s Prayers after which the pastor of the Yerevan Holly Trinity Church Fr. Isaiah Artenyan discussed with the students the theology of the Armenian Apostolic Church, the meaning of the rituals, as well as referred to the culture of reading the Bible, the ecclesiastical sacrament, baptism in particular. 

 

During the meetings the students asked the spiritual servant a variety of questions regarding the sectarianism, superstition, and the habits of lighting a candle in church.

 

It is intended to summarize the training session with a pilgrimage to the Odzun church.
