Third-year students of the Faculty of Primary Education [specializing in Pedagogy and Methodology], as well as fifth-year distance learning students of the same Faculty summed

up the results of the recent practice during a conference.
Armine Mikaelyan, who heads the internship of the Faculty, said in her speech that practical training is, in some sense, an examination for the students and a report for them as it covers the entire process of internship held in different schools.
The head of the practice said with the presentation of internship results conducted at â„–57 and 135 [inclusive] and â„–137, 60, 6 schools, Anania Shirakatsi and Mkhitar Sebastatsi educational complexes they aim to raise the problems faced by the students during the internship. “Students frequently come across technical and methodological issues that can cause frustration and despair; however, I want to say that these difficulties are a kind of ordeal for them.”
Speaking about the problems encountered during the practice, Armine Mikaelyan stressed it is desirable to review the activities of Methodists giving them more hours to work with students at school.
Anahit Babajanyan, who coordinated the students’ internship at this semester, added that the principals and teaching staff of all schools had expressed their satisfaction with the work done by the students. "During the practice the students organized various events, prepared different didactic materials, greatly contributing to the effective conduct and process of the practice."

The summary of internship started with an ABC concert involving the first graders of School N137 after Grigor Narekatsi which made the internship more tangible and evident.
“Nothing is impossible in this world as long as it is ruled by the good.” The students welcomed the audience with these words, making the day a real holiday for each of the attendees with their fairy and miraculous performances.
On behalf of fairytale heroes – Masha and The Bear, Unfortunate Panos and Ustian, Gena the Crocodile and Cheburashka, Seven Dwarfs, and Leopard, the children conveyed their message, wishing peace and kindness to the world.
Two students underwent practical training in the class headed by form mistress Anahit Grigoryan, who has at least 30 years of teaching experience. The latter says practices and class hearings are highly important for students. She stressed that an important precondition for becoming a good teacher is the ability to love children and one’s profession.
The ABC concert was followed by the summary of internship conducted in other schools. With the help of poster presentations, the students presented their work in these schools, as well as video materials telling about the class process and events.
Sirun Torosyan, one of the students undergoing practical training at Anania Shirakatsi seminary, said smilingly that

throughout the practice she felt as a true teacher although she encountered questions that she was unable to answer theoretically. “In order to improve one’s professional qualifications one needs to undergo active practice to be able to digest the enormous theoretical material. This fact is often neglected,” she said.
Talking to armspu.am, Head of the Internship Department Vahan Sargsyan emphasized students’ involvement in the conference, active and constructive discussions with their participation, which, he said, will serve as basis for new changes and additions in the process of internship.
“Such conferences should be made institutional, involving other faculties as well. Schools positively react to the participation of students which becomes an evaluation tool for us,” said Vahan Sargsyan.
International expert Vesa-Matti Sarenius also hailed the summary of the practice, saying it is a good way to socialize students’ knowledge and ensure an exchange of experience. The expert confesses that the folders complied in a new way and the showcased deductive materials of practice will undoubtedly be applied in the future.
The deductive materials made by the students are put on display at the Faculty hall. The students will kindly donate these materials to schools.
