KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

The Faculty of Special Education of Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU) has again come up with an interesting and exciting initiative on the occasion of the International

 Children's Day.

 

The high mood felt in the ASPU yard since early morning promised to make the children's favorite holiday unforgettable.

 

The guests at the event were children of the Mary Izmirlian orphanage and Salvation NGO who [accompanied by the ASPU students] sang, danced and enjoyed the University’s hospitability. This was followed by the children drawing with coloured chalks. 

 

The children were welcomed by the brass band of the University and the representatives of the Culture Centre, who added new and bright colours to the event with their joyful performances. 

 

Furthermore, Armine Avagyan, Dean of the Faculty of Special Education, greeted all the children participating in the event and wished them a peaceful and carefree childhood.

 

Earlier, the Chair of Speech and Rehabilitation Therapy of the Faculty of Special Education had organised [for several days] free consultations for children with speech and language disorders which was attended by numerous children.
