KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

Recently, the Student Scientific Society of the Pedagogical University welcomed the Scientific Committee of the Armenian National Student Association. 

 

During the meeting the SSS President Mariam Melkumyan introduced the aims of the society, its problems and activities identifying and determining the role and the meaning of the Society in the student centered educational system. 

 

Referring to the recent achievements of the Student Scientific Society Ms. Mariam Melkumyan spoke about the formation and activities of the Debate Club which was developed in a special format.  

The Vice President of the Association Mr. Sargis Asatryants and the guests were very much interested in the topics discussed within the framework of the Debate Club that were qualified by the guest not only as actual , also very much relevant to the problems in the educational system.  

 

Further on, the SSS President thoroughly presented the scientific seminars developed on the basis of the students’ proposals, and spoke about the University’s Internship Department, the Psychological Laboratory, as well as the effective cooperation with the library. 

At the end of the meeting those present expressed their opinions about the SSS mission and the role of the University in accomplishing it by means of “Brainstorming”.
