monitoring” with the duration of 8 months implemented at the Pedagogical University summarized its results.
The participants of the pilot project which include 30 pupils had formed 7 groups and with the help of the University tutors strengthened their knowledge of Armenian language, Armenian Literature, Foreign Languages, biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and History.
The Project Coordinator, Vice Chancellor of Education Quality and Distant Learning, Candidate of Physical-Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor Tigran Ayvazyan summarized the results of the project and assured that the Government’s social project operated even better and more effective than had been expected. The Vice Chancellor is also convinced that the pupils involved in the project will surely overcome and pass the minimum threshold of the unified and centralized examinations.
We would also like to remind that the aim of the social project was to assess the educational needs of teenagers from families included into the family benefits system, the main obstacles they meet, as well as to study their abilities, capabilities and the intention to continue education.
In case of outstanding success, the “Assessment of educational needs of children of the age 16-18 from families registered in the families included into the vulnerable families assessment system, support and monitoring” will obtain a continuous nature.
