At the end of the academic year, the Intellectual Commission of the ASPU Student Council came up with an interesting initiative.
The “most intellectual” students of the University’s ten faculties - the winners of an inter-faculty intellectual game held at the ASPU several months ago- today competed [in a separate intellectual game] for the title of “The Most Intellectual Student of ASPU.”
The three-round intellectual game that covered different spheres was held in a tense atmosphere. At the first round, the participants were asked 20 questions. Seven students

scoring the highest points reached the next round.
Four of them made it to the finals, after getting the highest scores in Round 2. The intense struggle continued in the final round, with the participants facing difficult questions on logic, history, culture and other fields.
The name of the best student of the 2012-2013 academic year was announced at the end of the competition, after summarizing the results of the intellectual game. Ruzan Ananyan, a student of the Faculty of Art Education, became the winner of the game with a total of 130 points. Throughout the competition she stood out with her profound knowledge and activeness.

She confessed that she was eager to win not for her own sake but in order to keep the faculty’s name high. Assessing the intellectual abilities of her rivals and highlighting the importance of such competitions the future painter said, “Nowadays it is very important that student organizations [on behalf of Student Councils] contribute to the increase of students’ intellectual level, enhance development of their intellectual abilities and their consolidation.”

At the end of the game, the most intellectual student received a diploma and a prize. Also, the students actively engaged in the work of the Commission were given Letters of Acknowledgement by the chairman of the Student Council.
