A few days ago, the faculties and the departments of the Pedagogical University undertook an initiative aiming to outline the role, meaning, and the essence of postgraduate

education to students through consultancy meetings and to discuss other issues about preserving the continuity of professional education, career development and prospects.
According to the schedule, the initial meeting with the students took place at the Faculty of Education Psychology and Sociology. The acting Dean of the Faculty Ms. Rouzanna Petrosyan, the Deputy Deans of Education, Science and Postgraduate Education, the Heads of the Faculty Departments and the students preparing to proceed with the MA degree education were all present at the meeting.
The meeting opened with the congratulations of the Acting Dean to the lucky students who will study in five specializations free of tuition fee, after which she spoke about the essence of the postgraduate education, the importance of professional development, as well as mentioned the departments and the specializations available at the faculty, upcoming and future projects, taught courses of each specialization:
In their turn, the students expressed their satisfaction with the consultancy meeting after which they came up with a number of suggestions. They also asked the lecturers different questions about the pedagogical and psychological specializations, foreign languages classes in the MA courses, and teaching professional courses.
