Alvard Grigoryan, the director of the museum, says virtual museums operate in several major museums of the country, enabling the establishments attract more visitors.
“In the near future, we plan to equip the virtual museum with modern technologies which will familiarise visitors with the enormous amount of information that was impossible to fully display at the museum for some reasons,” Alvard Grigoryan said in conversation with armspu.am.
The official opening of the three-dimensional museum of the University took place in November 2012 within the framework of events marking the University’s 90th anniversary. Up to now, the museum has had about 10 000 visitors, including students of the ASPU and other universities, schoolchildren and entrants, who are going to continue their studies at the ASPU.
Since the day of its opening, the museum has organized different events. This year, the museum participated in the international action “Night of Museums” for the first time. Within the framework of celebrations, the museum organized a variety of cultural events.
