pedagogue- graduates’ day unforgettable in its own characteristic colors.
Today, the 223 graduates of the Faculty of History and Law received their graduate certificates. But before passing to the main ceremony of awarding the certificates the Republic of Armenia National anthem and the Pedagogical University hymn were heard.
The University Chancellor, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Rouben Mirzakhanyan congratulated the university graduates and happily highlighted, “The process of objective and strict final examinations had an honorable end for all of us. I would like to wish the MA students professional achievements and I hope to see the BA students in the MA degree.”
In addition, the Chairman of the Committee for Final Attestation Examination of the specialization of law and pedagogy, the RA Deputy General Prosecutor Mnatsakan Sargsyan wished that the graduate diplomas were a landmark and an important prerequisite of further success.

Afterwards, the Chairman of the Committee for Final Attestation examination on history, the Director of the RA National Archive Mr. Amatouni Virabyan expressed his acknowledgments to all the graduates outlining that there were young people with exceptional talent among them who even deserve applauds.
On the initiative of the Faculty of History, as a result of consultancy with the Heads of Departments, six best graduates of the 2012/13 academic year were selected from all full-time and distant- learning departments. The Dean of the Faculty, Candidate of History Edick Gevorgyan granted the “Best Graduate Certificate” and the Jubilee Album published on the University’s 90th anniversary.
More on the subject, the Faculty of the Primary Education was in a cheerful holiday spirit since early morning; the faculty choir and the pre-school pupils of the Yerevan kindergarten N5, who also visited the University, congratulated the teachers with their cheerful performances characteristic with the day and wished them success.
338 BA and MA graduates, 35 Red Certificates; the Dean of the Faculty of Primary Education Ms. Heghinei Khachatryan summarized the number and the progress of the

graduates, urged them to become leading and highly qualified specialists as that is what the work with children obliges.
The Dean also expressed hope to see the BA graduates at postgraduate courses, too, ensuring that very engaging and informative selective courses are awaiting them on the second educational level.
Love towards the children, the disposition of an active citizen, a rich stock of knowledge; the Head of the Department of Mathematics and Elementary Education Ms. Haykouhi Haroutyunyan is defining the formula of becoming a highly professional specialist in a way typical to mathematicians.
The latter is sure that the biggest responsible for the formation of knowledge of the future generation is the graduate of the Faculty of Primary Education.
Besides, in this festive atmosphere around 234 graduates of the Faculty of Special Education also received their certificates, 33 of which were those of Excellent Academic Record.
In addition, the Chairman of the Committee for Final Attestation Examinations, together with the Dean and the Heads of Departments congratulated the graduates of the Faculty.

The Dean of the Faculty Ms. Arminei Avagyan mentions that today the graduates have reached one of the most important heights of their life; the certificate is a proof of the acquired knowledge and pledge of being a good specialist. The special pedagogue notices that self-education, update of the stock of knowledge will enable them to walk in line with time and to satisfy the professional demands, and moreover, the improved postgraduate courses of the university will contribute to this process, too.
To proceed, the Head of the Department of Psychiatry of the Yerevan State Medical University, Professor, the Chairman of the Committee Armen Melik-Bakhshyan, highly praising the graduates’ knowledge and their ability of independent thinking, also awarded graduate certificates.
The latter reminded the special pedagogues that there is a doubled need of qualified specialists in the sphere of inclusive education.
We would also like to mention that the best students of the faculties with the best results of all years will be awarded the graduate certificates by the RA Prime Minister, the Chairman of the ASPU Governing Board Mr.Tigran Sargsyan during the festive ceremony at 19:30.
This year, the Pedagogical University had overall 3158 BA and MA full-time and distant-learning graduates.
