“The generation of today’s graduates will be the creator of great achievements and progress”
24.06.2013
On the threshold of the Faculty of Biology, Chemistry and Geography the festive mood was already welcoming the graduates. This year the Faculty had 255 graduates including 71

postgraduates, 21 of whom received Certificates for Academic Excellence.

The Dean of the Faculty, Candidate of Chemistry, Associate Professor Svetlana Hovakimyan congratulated the graduates. The Dean wished them all the best, personal bliss, professional and career success and added, “Today, it is a both joyous and a very responsible day for you as by graduating from this University and receiving the certificates you are entering the great life where not only the knowledge and skills will undergo challenges, but also your personal features.

Upon stepping into a new stage of life never sacrifice your honour and dignity on the way of achieving your goals; create a free, independent and prosperous country.”

In addition, the Dean expressed his hope that the graduates are leaving the University with a great mood and impressions, with a huge stock of knowledge and with the determination to self-establishment as a professional. “I am pretty sure the generation of today’s graduates will be the creator of great achievements and progress, as well as build the best future for their homeland,” Svetlana Hovakimyan summarized and randomly awarded certificates to a few students in person.

Furtheron, the Chairman of the Graduate Committee of the Faculty, Doctor of Biology, Professor Karlen Grigoryan proceeded awarding the certificates to the graduates. The latter also mentioned that although he was not a graduate of that University, it had already become a native place for him, and one of the reasons was that a few decade before his father had graduated from that very educational establishment and was proud of it till then. “I am very pleased and thankful to everybody; I love all young people and their happy Armenian eyes very much. I wish all of you eternal happiness, create your beautiful families and achieve a lot of success”, Karlen Grigoryan said.

In his turn, the MA postgraduate Hovhannes Aristakesyan expressed acknowledgements to the Faculty and University in the name of all graduates. “All of us will sooner or later use the knowledge gained here during our future activities. We should all remember that the world reached us mostly in a ruined form and we have inherited the responsibility to make it a better place. There will be moments in our life when we’ll have a chance to be someone’s “leader”. For most of us it will happen when we become parents, and for all of us it will happen when we in this or that way become teachers. And now I am asking that all of us take up the responsibility at that time and do it wisely as someone already did it for us in the past,” the MA student Hovhannes Aristakesyan congratulated and thanked everybody with his advice.
