Journalists as Stage Directors and Actors
28.06.2013
It is already the second time the first-year students of the Department of TV Journalism have staged different performances with a view to present different human destinies and show

the amazing power of mystical love.

All characters of the performance “Candies have not been handed out yet” were invented. The main objective was to show the power of love that is even capable to lead people to madness.

The screenwriter and director of the performance was Arthur Gasparyan, a first-year student of the Department of TV Journalism. Actresses were Anna Artenyan, a student of the same department, and Gayane Nersisyan, a second-year student of the Department of Direction.

They played the roles of a desperate mother and her daughter who had experienced much bitterness in life.  In addition, the girl’s fiancé died an untimely early death. But even in seemingly desperate situations, the mother continued to said, “God’s work is unpredictable; every loss is the beginning of something great and important.”

“Justice has disappeared among us,” says the scriptwriter Arthur Gasparyan. “Good and evil are mixed together but the winner is the one who believes and waits.”
