Students of Armenian State Pedagogical University again participated in Baze All-Armenian Youth Gathering held in Armenian resort town of Tsakhkadzor from August 12 to 18.

ASPU’s team led by Edik Gulyan, President of External Relations of the University’s Student Council, a Master’s degree student of the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics, was included in the Red Front which was led by President of the Student Council Nersik Margaryan.
ASPU students Astghik Shahverdyan, Syuzi Martirosyan, Lilit Vahanyan, Aristakes Afrikyan, Anahit Hovhannisyan, Grigor Korkotyan, Nairi Balabekyan stood out among the participants in intellectual, cultural and sporting games. Anahit Hovhannisyan came 2nd during the competitions among front members, and 3rd in inter-front competitions.
ASPU’s team took the first prize in the “Brain Ring” competition and the third place in the inter-front competitions.

Besides, the work of ASPU student, painter Nairi Balabekyan was named the best in the “Baze Picture” competition, securing the first place for the Red Front.
This year, Baze All-Armenian Youth Gathering was held for the 11th time. This is the most-awaited event among the youth. This year the festival featured 45 teams in its tricolour fronts –red, blue and orange. The participants are mainly young people aged from 18 to 30.
As usual, on the sidelines of the gathering, the participants had a series of meetings with statesmen, politicians, artists and public figures. At the end of the competitions, Blue and Orange Fronts scored equal points to share the first place, while the red Front took the second place.
