ASPU to Host International Conference

A two-day international conference entitled “The Importance of Language, Education, and Family in the Process of Repatriation” starts at Armenian State Pedagogical University after Khachatur Abovyan at 10.00 September 4. (Address: Floor 3, Conference Hall, ASPU Rector’s Building, 17 Tigran Mets).
 
Armen Ashotyan, Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia, Rouben Mirzakhanyan, Rector of Armenian State Pedagogical University, Gagik Yeganyan, Head of the State Migration Service of the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration, Tina Laufer, Head of DAAD (the German Academic Exchange Service) Information Office, and Virginie Artot, Director of the EU funded project Targeted Initiative for Armenia, will deliver opening speeches.
 
During the two-day event, the participants from Armenia, Germany, Bulgaria and Poland will refer [in their reports] to the repatriation issues of Armenian migrants. They will also dwell on the activity and significance of the European Return Fund (RF), the current state and prospects of the project RECEA (Reintegration Centre Armenia), the role of the Armenian Diaspora in the reintegration process, repatriation problems of Armenian migrants in Germany and other issues.
 
A concert will wrap up the international conference on September 5.
