On the agenda of the Academic Council session there were issue on the selection of Deans for the Faculties of Education Psychology and Sociology, Special Education, and Primary

Education, also on the regulations of the formation of teaching-professorial staff of the University, on the Information Technologies at the University, and other current issues.
Before getting to the agenda, the President of the University Academic Council, the Chancellor, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Rouben Mirzakhanyan congratulated those whose jubilees are celebrated this month- Karlen Topchyan, Saida Gyulmisaryan, Souren Iskandaryan, Aelita Doloukhanyan, Vladimir Melqonyan, Yuri Balyan, Anahit Terzyan, Vahram Hakobyan.
Later on reports were delivered by the Dean’s candidates after which their selection process started.
The new regulation of the formation of teaching-professorial staff was introduced to the Academic Council members by the Head of Department of Educational and Scientific-Methodological Work Systemization, Vice-Chancellor, Mher Meliq-Bakhshyan. The regulation was approved unanimous.
Report on the subject “Information Technologies at the University” was delivered by the Vice-Chancellor on the Science and Postgraduate Education part, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor, Ara Yeremyan.
The latter introduced the necessity of installment process of new information devices for the information high-tech. As Ara Yeremyan mentioned, the new devices installment means having the electronic dean’s office information and organizational system, electronic management information organizational, administrative system, radio, television, and the University Wi-Fi system. The Vice-Chancellor is assured that the installment of the above mentioned will make all the University activities predictable, controllable, and manageable.
