On 8-10 March, a seminar on the subject “The Role of Memories and Memoires in Teaching History, Philology, and Culturology” took place in Budapest; a lecturer from the
Department of Armenia History of the Armenian State Pedagogical University Khachatur Stepanyan was also present at the seminar. There, he delivered a report on “The Historical Value of Rouben’s Memoirs/ Rouben Ter-Minasyan- state political figure/”.
Khachatur Stepanyan gives a good deal of importance to this kind of seminars and considers that they greatly contribute to the lecturers’ professional qualifications improvement.
And besides, Khachatur Stepanyan also had an on-line participation in the 15th International Scientific-Practical Political Science Conference in Kiev in 7-12 December. Among the delegates from different countries he was the only participant representing Armenia.
The conference was held in several sections; Khachatur Stepanyan participated in the section “Political Problems, Theory of Nationalism and Developments” and there introduced Hovhannes Qajaznouni’s comments about nation and motherland.
Among thirty reports made at the conference Khachatur Stepanyan’s work was awarded the Bronze Diploma and was included in the best three.
