From now on, second-year graduate students of the Faculty of Education Psychology and Sociology [specializing in Social Pedagogy] will undergo their practical training within the

course of “Diagnosis and Consulting on the Career Path of Young People” at the Methodological Center for Professional Orientation of the RA Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs.
During the first visit, Gohar Aslanyan, Program Development Coordinator at the Methodological Center for Professional Orientation, familiarized the students with the activity of the Center, its achievements and programs.
Talking to armspu.am, Associate Professor Hakob Tadevosyan, Deputy Dean for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, who is conducting the course, stressed the importance of practical knowledge, skills and abilities in the process of developing a specialist, especially social educators. “This format of practical training ensures the unity of theoretical, practical and research components in the Master's degree program. Such visits also contribute to the formation and strengthening of ties between employers and educational institutions, improve the quality of educational programs, enable future graduates to learn more things about the areas of their professional activity and eventually find a job,” he said.
Hakob Tadevosyan was proud to say that the leading specialists of the Methodological Center for Professional Orientation, Shahane Beglaryan and Alla Gevorgyan, were graduates of the Faculty of Education Psychology and Sociology.
Also, a schedule was drawn up based on the agreement reached during the meeting, according to which the students will be involved in the professional practices and programs of the Center starting next week.
