The Student Scientific Society of the Faculty of Primary Education has organized a matinée within the framework of events marking the 22nd anniversary of Armenia’s

Independence.
Historical overview of Armenia’s independence, patriotic songs and poems… This is how the 1st and 2nd year students of the Faculty congratulated the presentees on the occasion of the state holiday.
“Besides being a right to have an independent Motherland, independence is also a responsibility, and peoples who avoid it lose their moral right to exist,” Chair of the SSS of the Faculty of Primary Education, Anna Avetisyan, quoted the words of famous Armenian statesman and political thinker Garegin Nzhdeh. “We are free citizens of an independent country,” she continued.
“My country’s independence first of all guarantees my independence,” said Varduhi Ghazaryan, a second-year student of the Faculty. She promises to transfer to next generations the will and desire to maintain the hard-earned independence.
Head of the Division of Coordination of Academic and Scientific-Methodological Activities, Vice-Rector Mher Melik-Bakhshyan, and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Primary Education Lusine Poghosyan also congratulated the presentees, urging them to start performing their civil duty from the University by getting a high-quality education.
