KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

On 27, 28 September, the Chancellor of the Armenian State Pedagogical University after Khachatur Abovyan Mr. Rouben Mirzakhanyan was invited to participate in the 125th jubilee

 celebrations of the St. Clement of Ohrid University of Sofia, which is in fact one of the oldest higher educational establishments of Eastern Europe.

 

Among the invited participants of the celebrations also were Chancellors and Professor from a number of universities of Europe. 

 

On 26 September, prior to the official celebrations, Mr. Rouben Mirzakhanyan had an official meeting with his colleague, the Chancellor of the St. Clement of Ohrid University of Sofia Mr. Ivan Ilchev. Different issues about the further cooperation between the two Universities were discussed during the meeting.

 

Let us remind that in 2012, during the official visit of Bulgarian Prime Minister to Yerevan, the memorandum of cooperation between the two Universities was re-signed. In addition, the Chancellor of the St. Clement of Ohrid University of Sofia Mr. Ivan Ilchev himself participated in the jubilee celebrations of the 90th anniversary of the Armenian State Pedagogical University after Khachatur Abovyan:
