A few days ago the Head of the Department of Politology, Professor Levon Shirinyan presented a report headed “Republic of Armenia Facing the New Geopolitical Challenges” for the
teaching-professorial team and the students of the Department of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics.
The Doctor of Politology thoroughly analyzed the recent geopolitical events related to the ongoing processes in Syria and the Middle East, developments of the Russian –American relationship, as well as the issue of the Republic of Armenia becoming the member of the Customs Union.
The report was followed by active discussions, and the participants considered it quite meaningful and effective both for the lecturers and the students.
