Online Seminar on Psychological Issues

An international conference devoted to the innovations and perspectives in the sphere of Special Psychology was held at Chelyabinsk State Pedagogical University on October 10-11.

 
 
At the initiative of the Chair of Age and Pedagogical Psychology, ASPU, a seminar entitled “In the Present-day Practice of Psychology” was arranged between the two Universities over an online video call. 
 
The seminar was attended by Srbouhi Gevorgyan, Vice-Rector for Educational and Scientific Affairs, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Deans of the Faculties of Education Psychology and Sociology and Primary Education, lecturers, graduate students and post-graduate students, professors and students of Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University (RAU). 
 
During the online seminar, Asya Berberyan, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Head of the Chair of Psychology, RAU, presented the findings of her research on the competency of a person, while Professor Vladimir Karapetyan, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, referred to the connections between competence and educational objectives according to Benjamin Bloom.
 
"Despite the similarity in the educational systems, the two universities have different technical capabilities and features. Similar seminars are a good opportunity for exchanging experience and enhancing the framework for cooperation,” Vladimir Karapetyan, a key organizer of the seminar, said in conversation with armspu.am.
 
At the end of the seminar, an agreement was reached to set up a research laboratory. The sides also agreed to continue seminars and lectures in the future, involving other countries participating in the conference.
