The Pedagogical University has welcomed the first Finnish student from the Faculty of Education, Essa Tormanei within the framework of cooperation with the Oulu University of Finland.

The latter is passing a three-week research practice in the Department of International Cooperation of the Pedagogical University.
During the interview to the armspu.am Essa Tormanei highlighted the role of international cooperation in the sphere of education, mentioning that the outcomes of the internship spent at the Pedagogical University would surely find their role in the postgraduate thesis in which she was going to discuss the professional education of the trans-national community.
Moreover, during the internship the Finnish postgraduate took interviews from the University Vice Chancellors and other ASPU representatives involved in the cooperation framework.
Speaking about the first visit to Armenia, Essa Tormanei expressed her admiration towards Armenians, and especially the love of Armenia together with a number of quite interesting national peculiarities.
The internship of the Finnish student at the Pedagogical University is supervised by the Head of the Department of International Cooperation Ms. Christina Tsaturyan. The latter informed that soon two students from our University would spend their internships at the Oulu University of Finland.
“Implementing the research practice at other universities contributes to the students’ cooperation, to acquiring communication skills, as well as gives opportunities to get acquainted with the education and employment sector specifications and culture,” Christina Tsaturyan mentioned in her interview to the armspu.am not excluding the fact that the results of the Finnish postgraduate Essa Tormanei might serve grounds for further conclusions.
By the way, in future, two more Finnish students will spend their internship here at the Pedagogical University.
