The Chancellor of the Pedagogical University, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, Honoured Art Worker Rouben Mirzakhanyan was awarded the medal of “Native Language Ambassador” by the Ministry of Diaspora at the National Awards for Creative and Scholarly Works 2013.
During the official Awards ceremony Mr. Rouben Mirzakhanyan received the medal from the RA Minister of Diaspora Ms. Hranush Hakobyan.
The aim of the jointly announced competition for the World Armenian Congress, the Union of Armenians in Russia, the RA Ministry of Diaspora and creative organizations was to contribute to the motivation of the scholarly and creative thinkers’ activities in Armenia and to encourage intellectual undertakings.
And last but not least, five professors of the Pedagogical University were also granted prizes at the awards a few days ago.
