KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

Armenian State Pedagogical University recently hosted Ani Kalayjian, Professor at Columbia University, who had a meeting with professorial teaching staff and students of the

 University.  During the meeting, the guest delivered a report on “The problems of Overcoming Traumatic Stress and Genocide-related Trauma.”

 

The participants discussed a number of issues relating to the identification of psychological problems and focused on the factors that are transmitted from one generation to the other and disturb the harmony of an individual’s mental state.

 

Ani Kalayjian also gave practical advice to the attendees and conducted exercises that help cope with post-traumatic stress.
