Third-year students of the Faculty of Biology, Chemistry and Geography recently visited ASPU Basic (High-School) College.

Within the framework of psycho-pedagogical practices, the University students organized an intellectual game competition among the 11th graders of the college.
The students had been assigned by Methodist Anahit Minasyan to independently develop an extracurricular event programme.
Second-year MA student Shoghik Sahakyan showed great support for the group; she provided the students with an e-quiz made by her.
The intellectual game was composed of three phases, with participants answering historical and geographical and quaint questions.
The struggle was especially intense among the 11th graders of Streams of Psychology and Journalism. After summarizing the results of the intellectual contest the jury named the journalists’ team as the winner of the knowledge-based competition.
The intellectual game was attended by University lecturers, Dean of the Faculty of Biology, Chemistry and Geography, Svetlanna Hovakimyan, Director of ASPU Basic (High-School) College, Naira Safaryan, Head of Internship Department Vahan Sargsyan, as well as students of Oulu University of Finland, who are undergoing practical training at Armenian State Pedagogical University.

Svetlanna Hovakimyan stressed the importance of the event and expressed her admiration for the initiative of interns and the knowledge of the college students.
The dean was glad to see that the students were guided by the motto, “By constantly learning and acquiring new things we constantly grow and develop as individuals.”
