A few days ago, a series of joint seminars were arranged by the “Red Cross” organizations in Armenia and Germany and the Foundation “Europeans for Peace” in the Post-

Rehabilitation Center of the Red Cross within the framework of the project “Help- I Can, You Can, We Can”; the seminars were conducted by professionals who arrived from Armenia and Germany.
During the seminar the lecturer of the ASPU Faculty of Special Education, Department of Special Pedagogy and Special Psychology, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Ella Kafyan delivered a report on the subject “Methodological Approach of Development Activities for Children and Teenagers with Autism”.
During the report the author’ introduced her programme implemented for children and teenagers suffering from autism; the programme included exemplary tasks, tests and exercises. The seminar received high appraisal and positive feedbacks from the participants.
We would like to mention that the target group for the seminars consisted of Armenian and German children and teenagers of the age 14-16 who have special education needs.
The participants of the seminar got familiar with the problems of persons having special education needs in Armenia, had meetings with the organizations and individuals that dealt with the problems of people with disabilities in Armenia, as well as participated in the “First Medical Aid” and “Healthy Lifestyle” courses and got acquainted with Armenian culture.
