“Radio Fama” Broadcasting
01.11.2013
Tomorrow afternoon, 1 November, the “First University Radio Fama” will start broadcasting; it is the Radio of the Pedagogical University that will discuss both the university issues and the education sector as a whole including problems that are of particular interest to the youth.

What does “Fama” mean?  Fama is the Romano-Greek Goddess that “can hear everything and see everything”.

In addition to the important informative function, the first university radio will implement a not less important activity; it will be serving as a platform where the future journalists- the students of the Faculty of TV and Radio Journalism, may obtain practical skills.

Thus, the students will have the opportunity to hear the programs and reportage they prepared on-line, as well as to participate in their preparation, arrangement and broadcasting processes. Likewise, the students will contribute to the diversity of opinions, a rich variety and freedom of speech with their new concepts and modern ideas.
This is a student platform. The Radio station will basically refer to the ASPU activities, the existing problems and achievements.

The radio programs will include almost all genres- radio-review, radio-talks, radio-info, etc. The programs will be of continuous nature participants of which will be the scientists and students, the postgraduates and the lecturers of the University.

“Radio Fama” will have news broadcast, entertainment and educative programs.
On 1 November its piloting version will be launched.

Happy Birthday to “Radio Fama”.
