On November 7, Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU) hosted representatives of Moscow City University of Psychology and Education, who are in Armenia on a one-week
visit. Among the guests were Doctor of Psychology, Professor Lyudmila Obukhova, and two MA students of the Faculty of Educational Psychology.
On the first day of the visit, the guests walked around the ASPU Museum and got acquainted with the history, chronology, structure and activities of the University.
The aim of the visit is to get familiarized with the implementation of Master's Degree programme “Psychological Counseling in Education System” and “Pedagogy and Psychology /pre-school/” at the ASPU Faculties of Psychology and Social Pedagogy and Primary Education, as well as educational programmes and courses, organization of students’ pedagogical and research practices, and the peculiarities of experimental and research activities.
Let us mention that under an agreement signed between Moscow City University of Psychology and Education and Armenian State Pedagogical University, three students of the Faculty of Psychology and Social Pedagogy and one student of the Faculty of Primary Education left for Moscow in April-May, 2012, to participate in the one-month training course conducted by Prof. Lyudmila Obukhov.
