KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

Armen Ashotyan, Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia, has met with representatives of the student self-government bodies of state and non-state higher

 education institutions within the framework of International Youth Day.  

 

Congratulating his guests, the Minister awarded several Student Councils the highest award of the RA Ministry of Education and Science – a commemorative Gold Medal – for their effective activities and contribution to the establishment of student organizations. 

 

The Student Council of Armenian State Pedagogical University was also awarded Gold Medal by the Ministry of Education and Science. 

 

Armen Ashotyan underlined that the awards were given out in appreciation of the work of previous generations involved in student organizations. 

 

On the same day, a festive reception was held on behalf of Tigran Sargsyan, Prime Minister of Armenia and Chairman of the ASPU Governing Council. The event was attended by numerous students and youth representatives.

 

Congratulating the attendees on the festive occasion, the Armenian Premier said, “This meeting is a unique opportunity for us to understand our future as it first of all depends on you, the values you bear and the vision you have at the moment.”
