Lectures at the Museum
19.11.2013
From now on, the freshmen of the Faculty of History and Law, the Department of History will participate in a one-week session at the Museum of History of Yerevan and the History

 Museum.

The Professor of the Department of History of Armenia Mr. Raffik Nahapetyan undertook this initiative to introduce the future historians with the museum samples that existed several thousand years ago AD.

“Within the framework of a one-week session the students will be introduced with the archeological science and ethnography as the major sources of Armenian history and culture.
Without the full knowledge of that it will be impossible to prepare historians,” Mr. Raffik Nahapetyan mentioned in his interview with the armspu.am.

Moreover, the ethnographer is assured that the postgraduate students must be aware of the economic and cultural values of the earlier societies, and from this perspective the abovementioned museums provide enough material about the economic, political and cultural development levels of the ancient ethnic and cultural values.

In fact,  the future historians accepted the fact that visiting museums and  the lectures delivered there are the best way to make research activities.
