KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

The extended Board Meeting of the Association of Rectors of Pedagogical Universities in Europe (ARPUE) was held in Vilnius, Lithuania, on November 17-19. Rouben Mirzakhanyan,

 Rector of Armenian State Pedagogical University after Khachatur Abovyan, also participated in the ARPUE Board Meeting. 

 

ARPUE President Victor Andrushchenko, Rector of the National Drahomanov Pedagogical University, delivered a welcome address at the meeting. 

 

The participants discussed a wide range of issues, including new accessions to the Association, development and publication of new and common textbooks, the platform of forming a new teacher for the united Europe of the XXI century, etc. 

 

The attendees also discussed issues related to the organization and venue of the Third Forum of Association of Rectors of Pedagogical Universities in Europe.

It was decided to convene the next forum in Yerevan in May 2014.
