Varditer Karapetyan, a second-year student of the Department of Music Education, Faculty of Art Education, delivered a report dedicated to Romanos Melikian, a prominent composer, educator and conductor, the founder of Armenian classic romance.
In her report, the future musicologist presented the varied activities of the artist in the musical and social spheres which is the most important chapter in the history of Armenian culture in the early 20th century.
The conference organized by the Student Research and Creative Company was dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory.
