A debate training meetup accompanied by practical exercises and games was organized for the new participants of the Faculty’s Debate Club.
The topics of the debate and the competing teams were determined at the end of the training.
“Debate is a form of non-formal education which is widely accepted in the leading universities of the world. Since the day of its formation, the Club has hosted numerous debates on a variety of topics. Students also suggest topics for debate,” Liana Chobanyan, founding head of the Debate Club, said in conversation with armspu.am. She added that training workshops will continue in parallel with debates.
