Armenian State Pedagogical University after Khachatur Abovyan is preparing an exceptional International Conference headed “Theoretical and Practical Principles of the Development of Transforming Society” from 16-17 April. The Conference is being organized by the Armenia State Pedagogical University after Khachatur Abovyan, the International Research Institute of Metaphilosophy, Transforming Logic, and Theory of Argumentation under ASPU, and International Academy of Philosophy.
Open lectures will be arranged within the framework of the conference on 15 and 18 April; all the persons interested can participate in the lectures.
You will have an excellent opportunity to attend live lectures of internationally outstanding Philosophers and Psychologists. First time great international academic figures will read free lectures in Armenia. This brilliant chance is presented by the Pedagogical University.
15 April the Co-President of the International Academy of Philosophy, Professor of the Athens University (Greece), Academician, PhD, Evanghelos Moutsopoulos, the Professor of the Innsbruck University (Austria), the Head of the Faculty of Philosophy, Hans Köechler, and the Paris Diderot University Professor, Doctor of Psychology, François Neau will deliver lectures. The subject of the lectures will be the following: “Eternal Space and the Convicted Right of a Person”, “New Public Media and the Variable Nature of Communication: Anthropological and Political Perspectives”, and “Psychological Education and Specialization in France”.
Afterwards, on 18 April, the Professor of Clinical Psychology of Glasgow Caledonian University, the President of the European Association of Psychology and Law, David Cooke, and the Professor of the Copenhagen Aarhus University (Denmark), Director of the Center of Ethics and Law at the Faculty of Culture, the President of the International Federation of Philosophical Societies (FISP), President of the XXII World Congress of Philosophy (2008), Peter Kemp will introduce their lectures; the following are the topics of lectures: “Assessment of Violence Risk in an Individual” and “Towards Global Legal Structure”.
