Festive mood and atmosphere prevailed on December 20 in the Faculty of Culture where second-year students [majoring in Television and Radio Journalism] were staging a New Year award-giving ceremony.

The solemn opening of the concert programme was entrusted to the newcomers of the course – beautiful and charming Syuzanna Tusinyan and spirited and creative Gurgen Alekyan.
The students of the School-studio of the State Song Theater headed by Music Producer Nataly Karamyan made the event even more festive and beautiful with their wonderful performances.
Together with the attendees, the participants recalled pleasant memories of the past years with beautiful performances. They proved once again that childish dreams and temerity remain in the minds of each and every person throughout his life, and nothing can ever change the tale of childhood.
The students also summarized the results of a “half-joking, half-serious” award-giving ceremony which they had conducted in the second year. During the event, each student was awarded a special title. Dean of the Faculty Gevorg Tadevosyan and Supervising Professor Diana Markosyan received thank-you letters for their constant support and contribution.
The best students of the year, including the most fashionable, the most smiling, the friendliest and others became known in the result of the prize-giving ceremony. After the prizes in all nominations were handed out, the announcers said the winners truly deserved the titles. In the end, they congratulated the attendees on the coming New Year and wished everyone a year full of pleasant surprises.

In his closing remarks, the organizer of the event, Arthur Gasparyan, said the event was the summary of their work before the holidays and promised to make award-giving ceremonies continuous in the future. For his part, announcer Gurgen Alekyan noted that the event was a good chance to reveal the talent of the second-year students not only for the audience, but also for the University. Let us note that Gurgen Alekyan has joined the group recently after completing his military service.
