The open lesson with the participation of second-year graduate students of the Faculty was the first attempt to present the subject in a foreign language, focusing, in particular, on the geographical background of regional policy.
The lesson was conducted by Marine Matosyan, Candidate of Geographical Sciences and Associate Professor. During the lesson, the students used a number of training and support materials and literature and clearly defined the aim and objectives of the lesson.
Soon the students were able to ‘take’ the guests to a foreign-language environment and familiarize them with the present and future of each territorial unit of Armenia, short-term and long-term goals and ways to achieve their development and implementation.
The attendees, specifically the Dean of the Faculty Svetlana Hovakimyan, underlined that the lesson had educational, scientific and practical significance; it was a success and would serve its purpose of transferring scientific knowledge in a foreign language.
