Armenian State Pedagogical University Rouben Mirzakhanyan and the Manager of the European Union project “Targeted Initiatives for Armenia” Virgini Arto signed a contract.
With the abovementioned EU funded project native language courses will be provided at the Pedagogical University for the grown-ups and children who returned to Armenia; the classes will be conducted by the University lecturers. The aforementioned courses will contribute to the integration and the strengthening of the cultural relations of the newly returned people.
The ASPU Vice Chancellor on Personnel and International Cooperation Mr. Ara Yeremyan observed during his interview to the armsu.am that the Pedagogical University had all the resources and experience to support the voluntary ex-émigrés to overcome the language barrier and to provide the pursuant assistance to them.
We would like to mention that the aim of the EU funded project “Targeted Initiatives for Armenia”, with the duration of three years, is to support to the decent and stable return and the reintegration process, the voluntary or the unwilling social and economic reintegration of the representatives of the Armenian nation, to facilitate the legal migration opportunities and to strengthen the positive effects of migration on the social development of Armenia.
