“From now on, the Pedagogical University will be running a new model of internships with periodic succession under the name “Continuous Pedagogical Internship” the Head of

the Internship Department mentioned during the meeting with the methodists from 10 Faculties of the University, pedagogue and psychologist consultants, and internship supervisors today.
The latter also observed that even though the new format of internship developed in joint cooperation with the experts group from the University of Oulu of Finland had already been piloted at the Faculty of Biology, Chemistry and Geography Department of Geography, there were still a number of problems related to the level of awareness of the specialists.
Educative and cognitive, practical and analytical, as well as summarizing and evaluative; Vahan Sargsyan made a detailed presentation on the stages of continuous internship and noticed that the amount of the internship workload was increased at least three times in the curriculum.
“The best pledge of success for the effective internship is the level of the specialists’ preparedness, while in the opposite case it is doomed to failure”, he added.

In addition, during the meeting, the head of the Internship Department introduced the organizational and the methodological problems of the continuous internship, its functions, the folder structure and content, subject descriptions, thematic planning, made the analysis of modern challenges of organizing pedagogical internships, referred to the methods and the instruments of developing the strategy plans, as well as mentioned that in case of suggestions they will undergo amendments and improvements.
During the whole process of the internship pedagogues, methodists and psychologists will be involved; in fact, four components of intercultural communication have already been developed for the latter, these are targeted guidelines to evaluate and develop reflexivity, tolerance, empathy and influence.
Furthermore, the lecturer of the Department of Armenian Modern and New Literature and its Teaching Methods referred to the content of the normative legal acts and the educational and methodological material packages provided to the intern-students.
The latter emphasized an important precondition for the future pedagogues to be acquainted with the normative legal acts about the secondary education; “The Allocation of the

material about planning the classes and other educational and methodological material is also aimed at efficient organization of the work of future pedagogues. The material, available in the packages, contributes to the effective planning of the internship activities as well as for the secondary school documentation, together with a thorough description of competences of the secondary school teachers, directors, deputy director of academic affairs and other employees”.
What is more, the lecturer of the Faculty of Biology, Chemistry and Geography Ms. Anahit Minasyan described the continuous internship organization experience, and the lecturer of the Department of History and Theory of Psychology Ms. Maria Tevosyan spoke about the problems of organization of psychological viewing and interviews during the internships, the aim of the educational and cognitive internships, the viewing methodology, the requirements of planning the viewing and the interviews, the structure of the interview procedure.
And last but not least, the presentations were summarized with discussions; the participants expressed interest to see such meetings on continuous basis.
