KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

On 2 and 3 February, the project Tempus ARMENQA (Implementation of National and Sectorial Qualifications Frameworks in Armenia) was launched in Linkoping city in Sweden. 

The project aims at operating the Armenian National and five sectorial qualifications frameworks on national and institutional levels. 

 

 

In Armenia, the project in implemented by the joint efforts of the Project Coordinators the Armenian State Pedagogical and the Yerevan State Universities. Besides, the project is also supported by the RA Ministry of Education and Science.

 

 

TEMPUS ARMENIQA gives an opportunity to make the RA qualifications  in accordance to and in line with the European, as well as to facilitate the recognition and  acceptance of the qualifications both for the universities and the labour market.

 

 

There were fifteen partners from Armenia, and six representatives from European institutions participating in the project.   

 

 

 

The Pedagogical University was represented by the Vice Chancellor of Personnel and international Relations Mr. Ara Yeremyan, and the Head of the International Relations Department Christina Tsaturyan. 

 

 

 

 

During the meeting the structure of the project, the functions of the involved institutions, the project activities and the deadlines were presented. Moreover, the European partners discussed the European experience of introducing frameworks qualifications during the meeting.
